ABOUT BATAVIA WRESTLING CLUB
ABOUT BATAVIA WRESTLING CLUB
Batavia Wrestling Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit youth wrestling program serving boys and girls ages 5-14 in Batavia, Illinois and surrounding areas. Affiliated with the Illinois Kids Wrestling Federation (IKWF) and USA Wrestling, we exist to develop young athletes and strong community members, building discipline, perseverance, confidence, and sportsmanship that carry far beyond the mat.
The club is led by a highly experienced coaching staff and supported by dedicated volunteers from across the community. Every dollar raised goes directly back into the club and the Batavia wrestling community at large. We work closely with local schools, families, and community partners to give every wrestler a strong foundation in the sport and to keep wrestling thriving in Batavia for years to come.
Each season, our wrestlers train, compete, and grow — getting stronger, more agile, and more self-assured with every practice. The season runs November through March, with Rookie Nights each fall welcoming families who are new to the sport and new to our community.
The club hosts the Batavia Classic, our flagship January tournament and one of the area’s best-known youth wrestling events.
